My Story
The inspiration for creating Pretty Organised, LLC was born out of both passion and necessity. I’ve always cherished the calm and clarity that come with an organized space. To me, organizing isn’t just about putting things in their place—it’s about creating systems that make life easier, more intentional, and more joyful. But the journey that led me to this business wasn’t just about aesthetically pleasing closets or picture-perfect shelves. It was about understanding people, habits, and the profound impact our environments—both physical and digital—have on our well-being and ability to thrive.

My husband and I have starkly different preferences when it comes to organization. I’m someone who loves clean surfaces and everything tucked neatly away. My husband, on the other hand, feels more comfortable when his things are visible and accessible; if he can’t see them, they might as well not exist. For a while, this difference created tension in our home. My need for order clashed with his need for visibility, and neither of us felt like our preferences were truly understood or respected.

Eventually, we realized the solution wasn’t about choosing one preference over the other—it was about finding a way to honor both. We designed systems that met both our needs: open shelves with labeled baskets that concealed clutter for me while keeping his essentials within sight, and dedicated spaces for his high-priority items. The result? A home that felt harmonious and functional for both of us.
